Developed by Rayark Inc., Voez is a rhythm game that initially was released in May 2016 for iOS devices, with an Android version that was launched one week later in June 2016.
What type of game is Voez?
It embarks you on a remarkable journey of teenage dreams and fantasies. Voez follows Cytus and Deemo, two titles that took the world by storm, bringing out the most of Rayark’s emerging forces is the rhythm game, which has officially arrived!
What’s the gameplay of Voez?
In each level, there’s a black horizontal line located at the bottom of the screen. The line becomes visible as notes fall down from the very top of the screen on the note line.
The note line can move either way, depending on the song and its chosen difficulty. The player must hold tap, hold, and swipe or slide the note is subject to the type of note it is.
Tap notes are needed to be tapped whenever they reach the specific horizontal line. This way, you can make them disappear.
Swipe notes must be swiped in a direction to make them disappear, while slide notes require the player to keep their finger on the horizontal mark and slide it to where the next white note will fall to make the note disappear.
A score is shown on the bases of how accurate each note is hit. The accuracy of every note is identified by either as ‘Perfect,’ ‘Max Perfect,’ ‘Miss,’ or ‘OK.’ The total score will also feature a letter grade: an A rating from 880,000 points, a B rating from 780,000 points, a C rating for any lower score, and an S rating from 950,000 points or when a player earns a title.
What’s the storyline of Voez?
An in-game diary acts as the means to give the player challenges to access and unlock each story episode. Each episode covers parts of the story and artwork. The player can find out more about the episode on the official website.
There’s a combo counter which keeps a record of how many notes have been hit without omission. Knocking all the notes can bring rewards with a little of ‘Full Combo,’ and there’s further reward by striking every note at ‘Perfect’ or ‘Max Perfect’ accuracy, gratifying the player with an ‘All Perfect’ title.
