Developed and published by Codebrew Games, Pocket City is one of the most engaging building experiences that currently available for Android and iOS devices.
The game is of simulation genre, hence there is not much story to it. The general idea behind Pocket City is that you’re an up and coming mayor of a new city, and you are starting from scratch.
In Pocket City, you build homes, provide jobs, and add some commercial businesses to let your city grow and expand.
As your city flourishes with residents, businesses, tourists, and other attractions, so will the fires, crime, and eventually natural disasters.
There’s not quite an end goal to Pocket City other than finishing all of the quests at hand, so it’s like a free-for-all: build your city how you like it!
Since the game is a city-building simulator, you can expect all of the things you’d generally find in a city: houses, various shops, apartments, leisurely parks, recreational parks, towering landmarks, and the like.
While you’re playing the Pocket City, you’ll see some odd things as well. These include obelisks to keep natural disasters away, pyramids, and other distinctive landmarks with their particular properties.
The gameplay of Pocket City
The game features two game modes: Normal and Sandbox. No matter which route you select, you basically start with nothing and must work your path to a city that’s hustling & bustling with activity.
In normal mode, you’ll make your way by building simple additions to your city, receiving revenue and leveling up with access to new structure types. Overall, you will enjoy plenty of growth in the normal mode of Pocket City.
The Sandbox mode of the game lets you pick from randomly generated maps, and it offers everything free to build and expand! You primarily have infinite funds, all buildings are available at your control from the get-go with no pause times. And there are no quests or leveling up to worry about as well.
If you only want to freely build your dream city, Sandbox mode is the way to go.
One of the fine things about the Pocket City’s gameplay is the fact that all the structures need power and water, but the only way to apply these resources to the buildings is to connect them via roads.
The interface of Pocket City Simulation Game
Pocket City like the most simulation games come with everything that done through different menus and a drag-and-drop interface.
