Need for Speed: Most Wanted
Electronic Arts’ Need for Speed: Most Wanted is an open-world racing game developed by Criterion Games and published by Electronic Arts. It is the nineteenth title in the Need for Speed series and got released worldwide for Android and iOS devices in 2012.
Need for Speed: Most Wanted is set in an open-world setting. It’s set to allow players to choose one car and compete against other racers in three types of events: Sprint races, Circuit races, Speed runs, and Ambush Races.
1- Sprint Races – involves traveling from one point of the city to another.
2- Circuit Races – features two or three laps in total.
3- Speed Runs – consists in traversing through a course in the highest average speed possible.
4- Ambush Races – where the player starts surrounded by cops and must evade their pursuit as quickly as possible.
Cops are disbursed into specific racing sessions, in which the police use wheels and tactics to hinder the player’s car and arrest the player. The game highlights a Most Wanted list of 10 racers. As the racers are defeated, their cars are added to the player’s roster the moment the player wrecks them. In this echo, the focus shifts from Rockport, the city in the original, to a new city called Fairhaven.
Fairhaven resembles a regular city, with a beach and an Industrial District. It has a central highway dubbed I-92 that stretches across the city.
The game uses Autolog, which plays a larger role and gives more information to the players. Autolog credentials have now been integrated into the game world, rather than sit externally on the menu system.
Need for Speed: Most Wanted has a new social system called Cloud complete, which strings together Most Wanted across all platforms in an exalted example of cross-compatibility.
Driving model of Need for Speed: Most Wanted
The driving pattern of the game has been described as “deep, physical and fun,” not as arcade-styled as the Hot Pursuit and Burnout series, but far from a simulator.
Cars in Need for Speed: Most Wanted
The cars can be remodeled with performance upgrades, like inflatable tires, engine, transmission, nitrous oxide, and bodywork that enables players to crash through roadblocks, accelerate faster, and have a higher top speed.
There’s a feature called EasyDrive that enables players to adjust their vehicle performance while in usage.
