A freemium multiplayer mobile game from the Supercell, Brawl Stars adapts the team-based brawl/shoot em up in a way that makes perfect sense for pocket-sized touch devices like smartphones.
More about Brawl Stars
To its core, Brawl Stars is an objective-focused shooter, a battle royal, a MOBA-lite video game, which all wrapped up in a convenient and attractive package.
The gameplay of Brawl Stars
The game is centered around shooting other players or, in some cases, AI foes to bring down their health and defeat them.
As a player, you can decide to choose between several brawlers, each with their own featured attacks as well as Super attacks that range from shotgun spells to pistol Strikes.
Your primary attacks in Brawl Stars revolve around an unlockable passive ability called a Star Bonus that can be traced in Brawl Boxes once the brawler is at the maximum level.
The game provides seven non-ticketed events, and three ticketed events, totaling to 10 unique game modes. The modifiers carry special mechanics to Showdown, and they generate a variety of ways the game mode can be played.
Ticked Events in Brawl Stars
Robo Rumble – An ever-growing onslaught of robots where three brawlers defend a safe in the middle of the map for as long as they can.
Boss Fight – A bout where three brawlers fight a massive robot in an attempt to destroy the robot before it gets stronger.
Big Game – Over five brawlers come face-to-face a “Big brawler” who moves faster, and has much more health than his counterparts. The objective is to take the big brawler down as quickly as possible.
Non-Ticked Events in Brawl Stars
Bounty – Three brawlers on each team fight to get as many stars as possible. These stars are gained by getting kills or by grabbing the one in the center.
Brawl Ball – Brawlers on each team try to score more goals than the other side. If a team has two goals, they succeed.
Gem Grab – Three louts on each team attempt to capture the gems from a mine which spawns gems every seven seconds.
Heist – Each team looks to destroy the other team’s safe, as whichever team destroys the others’ side first wins.
Showdown – Ten brawlers or five teams in duos face off against each other, with the last one to survive to win the match.
Siege – Three brawlers on each team fight to take down the other’s IKE turret. The IKE will shoot the other team’s confidential players if they are in a demarcated boundary.
